Assumptions and disclosure
Tax year: 2026. Assumptions are simplified and should be verified before use.
This is a simplified educational estimate using visible CPP/QPP timing assumptions. It does not model contribution history, dropout provisions, survivor benefits, disability benefits, child-rearing provisions, pension sharing, tax effects, OAS/GIS interaction, or program-specific administrative rules.
CPP and QPP have different maximum deferral ages. CPP can generally be delayed to age 70, with a maximum enhancement of 42%. QPP can generally be delayed to age 72, with a maximum enhancement of 58.8%.
The default early and delayed adjustment assumptions are simplified monthly percentages. Actual CPP/QPP benefits should be verified with official government statements and qualified professionals where appropriate.
