Plain-language route

Describe the planning question in your own words.

This is the main app-style route. Each choice opens the next step so the path stays visible: request, area, objective, calculator, intake, then handoff.

1. Describe the request

Use ordinary wording. The prototype suggests likely routes, but the user confirms the path.

The prototype is now strongest for home, retirement, education, tax, debt, government-benefit, business-analysis, and savings-goal routing.

2. Choose the area

This is a broad route such as home, retirement, education, tax, debt, benefits, or savings.

The concierge will suggest broad planning areas first, then narrow to the calculation objective.

3. Choose the calculation objective

Choose what the calculation should help estimate or compare. The app choice comes next.

Choose a planning area first.

4. Choose the calculator

The Concierge suggests the closest calculator for the selected objective. You can choose another listed app before entering values.

Choose an objective first.

5. Provide only the needed inputs

The intake is based on the selected calculator route when targeted fields are available.

Only fields relevant to the selected calculator are shown when an intake definition exists.

6. Open the calculator

The concierge prepares the path. The calculator page still performs the calculation.

The selected calculator is ready to open. Review the calculator inputs before calculating.

    Roadmap

    Where this framework goes next

The next phases will deepen calculator intake, improve article and reference matching, and add more reliable prefilled handoffs. Any AI-assisted layer must remain explainable and must hand calculation back to the calculator engines.
